My work, like my poems and stories, is divided into several categories: Solitude, Relationships, Vietnamese African American tradition, Personal narratives, Concept and Construction of Memory that explore the power of the spirit and the struggle toward wholeness. The vivid colors and interlay of strokes in the arts of Georgia O'Keeffe, Hyman Bloom, Vincent van Gogh influenced how I want to express my rhythms of life.
